Career coaching (with a focus on CV and Personal statement)

Our professional consultation will provide you with US dental career counseling and customized feedback on CV's and personal statements through more than 100 minutes of face to face video counseling. There is a $775 (US) fee for consultation and all profits go toward supporting the Synergy Program (which is delivered free to Foreign Trained Dentists every year).

Are you ready to seek consulting services? Checklist below:

1. I need help/feedback strengthening my CV and personal statement for my application to a US Advanced Standing (or Specialty program) or I need career coaching/counseling.

2. I have a current CV and personal statement that I am ready to submit for feedback

3. I understand that this consulting service cannot guarantee an interview into any US program.

4. I understand that the consultants won't write my CV or personal statement for me. They will provide rigorous feedback to help me improve my own CV and personal statement.

5. I am able to pay the $775, non-refundable, consulting fee

The process and services are as follows:

1. You email Ms. Allora (our research lab manager) to get the process started.

2. Ms. Allora contacts you to help you…
   a) Fill career forms that will help us learn a more about you to inform career counseling
   b) Upload your current CV and personal statement
   c) Match you with one of our faculty
   d) Set up a time for a 1 hour consulting call with one of our faculty.
   e) Ms. Allora also contacts the faculty who will begin reviewing your CV and personal statement to prepare for the consulting call.

3. During the consulting call, you will receive customized feedback on your CV and personal statement. You can also ask questions and receive career counseling. Our consultants have mentored hundreds of dental students in the US (including foreign trained dentists) and many of our consultants are foreign trained dentists working in the US.

4. After the feedback/consulting call, you will have another opportunity to submit an edited CV and personal statement.

5. To complete the process, you will have a follow-up consulting call (45 minutes) which can include practice interview questions, career counseling or other professional support that you may need.
