Progressive owner support

I'm Fiona Holland and I offer compassion-based support for owners and their horses with the goal of helping both have a more harmonious, enjoyable relationship.

I use a progressive series of tailored steps, based on your situation and needs, with the aim of enhancing rider confidence and understanding.

I work primarily to support students working with trainer, Joe Midgley. I help owners establish and improve their 'feel' and timing and help to unpack this amazing way of working with horses (which is often called 'horsemanship') in an understandable and accessible way.

I bring over 30 years of experience of working in the field of psychology/adult education and 30 years of studying and practising horsemanship (see 'About' tab for more information). I also draw on my knowledge of therapeutic massage and bodywork to support my clients in understanding their breath, body positioning, and 'energy' around their horses.

I specialise in working with people who are new to this way of working with horses, and offer empathetic, encouraging rider support alongside foundational horse training.
