Equine Energy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary located in Kingston, Washington. We provide lifelong care for rescued horses and Bernese Mountain Dogs while offering peaceful, non-mounted experiences for veterans, people with disabilities, individuals living with PTSD, families, and others seeking connection, hope, and healing.

Many of the older horses we welcome have experienced neglect or have gone without consistent veterinary, dental, farrier, or daily care. At Equine Energy, each horse receives individualized treatment, proper nutrition, safe shelter, companionship, and a permanent home. We give them the time and support to feel secure, including a compatible equine companion, a forever friend. When the time comes, we provide compassionate, veterinarian-guided end-of-life care so they can pass peacefully, surrounded by love.

At Equine Energy, veterans, people with disabilities, individuals living with PTSD, families, and other community members can spend peaceful time with our sanctuary animals. Our non-mounted experiences may include grooming, walking beside a horse, or simply sitting quietly nearby in a calm, welcoming environment.
