Where Faith Meets Performance

In 2025 we were thrilled to announce the launch of Epworth Theatre Ministry (ETM) at Epworth United Methodist Church! ETM is a ministry dedicated to connecting faith and the performing arts through community outreach and creative expression. We have been pleased to offer to date Fame Jr the musical, the play, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, and now our second summer theatre camp called Camp Encore. Recently we have launched a monthly drama club where students are welcome to come and learn skills to help them grow while fostering wonderful friendships with others with the same passion for the arts.

Whether you're an experienced performer or just curious about exploring your creative gifts, Epworth Theatre Ministry welcomes you. We have ways for everyone to be included even if you prefer to not be on stage. We are always looking for volunteers to help on our production team, stage design, costumes, makeup, and volunteers to help during the shows. We welcome you to join the ETM family!

Camp Encore 2026 Registration Link!

Camp Encore begins Sunday June 7th and ends on Thursday June 11th

Camp begins at 6pm and ends at 8:30 PM each day

Students who will be in 5th-12th grade in the fall are welcome to join us at Camp Encore. Campers will enjoy theatre games, snacks and will get an opportunity to "Unpack their Adjectives" as we learn a number from our next musical, School House Rock!

They will learn the music and choreography to this song and showcase their performance at Epworth on Sunday June 14th. Students will also learn how the adjectives from the Beatitudes help us learn the qualities that make us good disciples in life. All are welcome as we unpack this fun adventure!
