Auditions for School House Rock Live! Jr. December 13 & 16

Please arrive promptly with the necessary forms completed. If needed we will have additional forms available at the auditions.
We will be holding auditions in the Epworth Children's Church. We ask family, friends, and others auditioning to wait in the lobby.
Please review the following dialogues for your audtion. There will be cold reads with our production staff.
Please come prepared to sing one of the songs listed below for your audition. We will provide the background music on our speaker.
Audtions will be recorded for our use in casting.
Epworth UMC will have additional safety and emergency information forms to be completed by anyone cast in the production on the first day of rehearsals.
There is a $75 participation fee for anyone cast in the show. This fee will cover their costume, show t-shirt, snacks, tech week meals, and a one line shout out for the family to add to the playbill. If you need a scholarship due to financial hardship please let us know before January 1st so we can secure your spot.

Tom – The idealistic young teacher and hero of the story. Nervous about his first day of teaching but gradually becomes more at ease. Mature, amiable, likable, and charming. Character does not sing solo, but is in every number.
George – A marvelous character role.Takes the lead on "Three is A Magic Number" and "Just a Bill." George is a calming presence and excellent cheerleader for Tom.
Dori – Strong singer and the goofiest of the gang. Leads “A Noun Is a Person, Place, Or Thing,” “The Preamble,” and “Elbow Room.” Playful and silly.
Shulie – Sweet and genuine. Featured in “Unpack Your Adjectives” and leads “Interplanet Janet.”
Joe – Laid back and fun‑loving. Sings in "Great American Melting Pot and needs to deliver in “Conjunction Junction” with personality.
Dina – Mature, thoughtful, and grounded. Featured in “Unpack Your Adjectives,” "Great American Melting Pot," and leads “Interjections.” Strong singer with harmony ability.
Elvis - Fantastic character role. Takes the lead on "Do the Circulation." Embodiment of the king of rock and roll!
Janet - takes lead on "Interplanet Janet" with Shulie. Lots of personality and from way out in space!
Featured Ensemble - Many additional unique non singing roles to spotlight our cast of performers in the ensemble.
We will be recording auditions with the attempt to avoid any callbacks. If we need to hold call backs they will be held on Friday December 18th.
