There are 3 bridges crossing the Seekonk River from E. Providence to Fox Point in Providence, RI. Referred to as the Redman Linear Bike Path and the Washington Bridge.
On the south, toward Riverside side, is the bicycle path; Center, Washington Bridge opened in Sept. 1930, is now carrying all traffic; On the north side, toward Rumford, this bridge used to carry only the west bound traffic, built in 1960s, is being removed.
