Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
EPSA Summer University is one of the core events organised by the European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (EPSA). It combines educational activities, professional development, cultural exchange, networking opportunities, and an international social programme for pharmacy students and young professionals across Europe.
Participants must be members of an EPSA Member Association or become EPSA Individual Members if their university or country is not represented by an EPSA Member Association. For more details please contact vp.ia@epsa-online.org
The participation fee includes:
Accommodation during the event
Three meals per day and coffee breaks
Welcome package and official materials
Access to the educational and scientific programme
Workshops and trainings
Organised trips and cultural activities
Transportation during official event activities
Networking and social programme
No. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel expenses to and from Moldova.
Accommodation is provided from 28 July (arrival and registration day) until 1 August (departure day and check-out). Participants are welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer in Moldova at their own expense.
Participants will be accommodated either in the student dormitories of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy from the Republic of Moldova or at Equator Hostel in Chișinău (city center). The accommodation allocation will depend on the final number of participants and organisational arrangements.
Yes. Rooms will be shared with other participants of the same gender.
Transportation will be provided during official activities, including organised trips, scientific visits, excursions, and transport between the accommodation and educational venues. Transportation from the airport to the accommodation is not included.
Chișinău Eugen Doga International Airport (RMO) is located approximately 13 km from the city. Participants can use:
Public bus transportation (around 7 MDL / €0.35)
Uber/Bolt rides (approximately €3–6)
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free meal options are planned, and dietary preferences will be collected through the registration form.
The programme overview and main activities will be announced before the registration deadline.
The official language of the event will be English.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Participants are advised to check the official visa requirements for the Republic of Moldova before travelling. When registering for the event, in the Registration Forms, you can ask for an Invitatin Letter that will hopefully help you get your visa to attend the event!
Yes! The social programme will include organised trips, cultural activities, and opportunities to discover Moldova’s traditions, cuisine, and attractions.
The most convenient way to reach Moldova is by air travel. Chișinău International Airport offers regular connections to numerous European destinations through several international airlines.
