ASFRM – Asociația Studenților Farmaciști din Republica Moldova is the official representative body of pharmacy students at the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy from the Republic of Moldova. Established in 2015, the association was founded with the mission to support, represent, and empower pharmacy students at both national and international levels. Over the years, ASFRM Moldova has developed into a structured and dynamic organization, actively contributing to student life, professional development, and academic excellence.

In addition to its educational and professional initiatives, ASFRM organizes large-scale events that strengthen community spirit and student involvement. Among these are the ASFRM Congress, held every two years with national and international participation, and the Pharma Party, a signature social event designed to bring students together in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. Through all its activities, ASFRM creates a balanced environment that combines academic development, professional exposure, and social connection, contributing to a comprehensive student experience.
In 2025, ASFRM proudly celebrated 10 years of activity, marking a decade of continuous growth, leadership, and engagement. Throughout this period, the association has strengthened its internal structure and expanded its impact, becoming a recognized platform for student initiative, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Its evolution reflects a consistent commitment to developing future pharmacists prepared for modern healthcare challenges.
The association is strongly involved in all scientific and social activities provided by the university and built a strong collaboration with ASRM - Asociația Studenților și Rezidenților în Medicină and ASSM - Asociația Studenților Stomatologi din Republica Moldova.
A key component of ASFRM’s international dimension is its strong partnership with FASFR – Federația Asociațiilor Studenților Farmaciști din România. Through this collaboration, ASFRM co-organizes projects such as the InterFarma mobility programme, which provides pharmacy students with the opportunity to explore different educational systems and gain practical experience through visits to pharmacies, laboratories, and pharmaceutical institutions. This partnership fosters academic exchange, cultural interaction, and the development of a strong regional network of future professionals.
