February 19, 2026: Coffee Craving Fundraiser!
The monthly pack meeting brings together Cub Scouts from every den, their leaders, and their families to participate in a large-scale event showcasing what the Scouts have learned and done in their individual den meetings. This meeting provides a broader experience beyond their own den and helps them connect their activities to the entire Cub Scouting program.
Pack meetings are usually on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Epping Community Church, with special meetings at Epping Elementary School or the American Legion. Time and location details are posted on the Pack Calendar on Band.
Cub Scouting is a family program. Pack meetings include families, Cub Scouts, den leaders, pack leaders, and invited guests such as District Scouters, chartered organization members, and community leaders. Visitors from other packs, troops, or crews may also attend.
The Pack Meeting Agenda includes preparation by leaders, a gathering time for families, an opening ceremony, a program with presentations and activities, recognition and rank advancement, a closing with announcements, and post-meeting refreshments and cleanup. Additional items may be included and will be listed in the monthly agenda.
Pack meeting activities vary by theme and adventure, including ceremonies, skits, games, and demonstrations. Ceremonies mark important events, skits develop confidence, games teach values, and demonstrations showcase skills and crafts. These activities help Cub Scouts connect their den experiences to the larger pack and Cub Scouting program.
