ePortfolio folder settings in your Google Drive

Prerequisite: You have a Google Account

Your Google Drive is an online storage space for both files created using the Google suite and for storing other file types.

How to make sure all embedded or linked files including images are viewable in your ePortfolio

1. Open your Google Drive

2.Create a new folder

  1. Select Folder
  2. Name your folder ePortfolio
  3. Select Create

3. Open the share settings window

  1. Select ePortfolio
  2. Select Share
  3. Select Advanced

3. Edit the sharing settings for the folder

  1. Under who has access, select Change
  2. Under Link sharing, select On - Anyone with the link
  3. Next to Access, ensure that anyone Can view only
  4. Select Save
  5. Double check the settings in the final window, then select Done

Save ALL files you plan to embed in your ePortfolio in this folder.

The permissions for the folder will apply to all files saved in the folder, unless you make changes to individual file settings.
