Dapor Naufal, a vibrant food stall in the UNIMAS Student Pavilion, is the brainchild of a passionate entrepreneur from Bako. The owner, inspired by a family tradition of business, the owner entered the culinary world in 2022, seizing the opportunity to serve the diverse student population at UNIMAS. The stall's name Dapor Naufal, comes from his only son Naufal, reflecting the owner's deep family values.
After visiting the student pavilion, the owner noticed the abundance of nasi ayam stalls and decided to offer something unique. Initially, his proposal included a variety of snacks like takoyaki and keropok lekor, but after careful discussions with his family, he opted to focus on rice dishes.
During the first week of operation, the owner observed that the most popular dishes among students were flavors such as butter, paprik, kunyit and black pepper. Recognizing the high demand, he concentrated on these four flavors, offering them with chicken and beef initially. As his business grew, he expanded the menu to include prawns and squid, providing students with a wider array of choices.
Dapor Naufal's commitment to quality and innovation has quickly made it a favorite among the UNIMAS community, known for its delicious and diverse offerings that cater to the tastes of students.
