17:00 Informal guided tour of Skopje
Participants arriving on Thursday are welcome to join an informal tour of Skopje.
The meeting point is at the Macedonia square, in front of Skopje Marriott Hotel at 17:00. Our volunteers wearing conference T-shirts will guide you through the centre of Skopje where you will have a chance to see the Old Train Station, the Macedonia Street with its cafѐs and restaurants, Mother Teresa Memorial House, Macedonia Square, the Art Bridge, the Stone Bridge, and the Old Bazaar with its numerous monuments. The tour will last around two hours, and afterwards the participants are welcome to join a casual dinner at a nearby restaurant.

7:00 - 17:00 A one-day trip to Ohrid, the Lake Ohrid and St. Naum monastery
Ohrid is a beautiful town in the south-west of the Republic of North Macedonia, situated on the Lake Ohrid, the deepest and oldest lake in Europe with a unique ecosystem rich in endemic species. It is famous for the numerous churches, monasteries and picturesque houses. The city of Ohrid and Lake Ohrid are UNESCO Cultural and World Heritage Sites.
The detailed itinerary of the trip can be found on the following link. Participants interested in taking the trip need to pay 50 EUR in cash upon registration. The fee covers a bus trip to Skopje - Ohrid - St. Naum - Skopje, entrance tickets to historic sites, a tour guide, and lunch at the national restaurant in the St.Naum monastery complex.
