Sheila Griffith, PhD, MBA, MDiv Sheila has been teaching at the university level since 2000. She has taught Biblical Greek, New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, Women in the Bible, The Synoptic Gospels, Christian Doctrines, as well as Corporate Finance, College Algebra, and Corporate Management. Sheila earned her PhD in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity from the University of Virginia. Sheila earned her MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Sheila earned her MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she also claimed the honors of the W.T. Conner Memorial Award and the President’s Merit Scholar in Theology. Additionally, Sheila did post-graduate studies at the Vatican (Rome, Italy), Baylor University (Texas, USA), and the University of Tübingen (Germany). Sheila taught for Wayland Baptist University in Kenya on five separate occasions. She is currently associate pastor of Liberte Eglise Montpellier, France. She fell in love with Kenya and the Kenyan people on her very first visit.
Kevin Griffith, MA, MDiv Kevin has been teaching at the university level since 2000. He has taught Biblical Hebrew, New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, The Prophets, The Synoptic Gospels, Christian Doctrines, Church History, and Backgrounds of the New Testament. Kevin earned his MA in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity from the University of Virginia. Kevin earned his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Additionally, Kevin did post-graduate studies at the Hebrew University (Jerusalem, Israel), Baylor University (Texas, USA), the University of Tübingen (Germany), and participated in the archaeological dig at Malhata, Israel. Kevin taught for Wayland Baptist University in Kenya on four separate occasions. He is currently associate pastor of Liberte Eglise Montpellier, France. He fell in love with Kenya and the Kenyan people on his very first visit.
Damon Pearce, MDiv, MMin Damon serves as the pastor in Texas. He graduated from Texas Tech in 1986. He worked as a newspaper editor for several years before He surrendered to God’s call to ministry. He graduated from Houston Baptist University with a degree in music, and from Wayland Baptist University with two Master’s degrees; one in Christian Ministry and one in Divinity. He has taught at Wayland Baptist University-Kenya and Wayland Baptist University-Lubbock. He and his wife Bonnie have three daughters.

Randy Rogers, PhD Randy Rogers is a New Testament professor at a Baptist University in Texas. In addition to interacting with his students, doing fill-in-preaching, and spending time with his family, Randy enjoys wearing a wide assortment of ties to entertain himself and his associates.
Mark Goodman, DMin, MDiv Mark came to pastor in Alaska in June 2008. Mark was raised in Arlington, Texas. He earned his bachelor's Degree from Baylor University and his Master's Degree from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. He earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Beeson Divinity School. He has served in vocational ministry for twenty-nine years. Mark is the author of The Ordinary Way: A Unique Way to Live.
Mark and his wife, Vonda Kay, have one daughter and two sons. He enjoys hanging out with his family, a good game of racquetball, and a scenic hike in beautiful Alaska.
Henry Courser, MDiv Henry Couser came to his church in Alaska in 2015 as Executive and Life Groups Pastor. Before moving to Alaska, he was a missionary in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Prior to that, he served as the Executive and Missions Pastor at Noonday Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia. Henry also has extensive military, law enforcement, and business experience.
Both Henry and his wife, Jane, are originally from Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee. He continued his post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Virginia, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and has been honored with an honorary Doctorate in Developmental Economics for his work with churches, orphanages, schools, and farmers raising chickens by the Notre Dame University in Cap Haitien, Haiti.
Henry and Jane have been married since 1981. They have two grown daughters. Henry enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and many other outdoor activities, but his real passion is telling people about Jesus. Because of his very diverse background, Henry has been able to travel all over the world sharing his faith and introducing thousands of people to Jesus.
