Virtue is a quality considered morally good or desirable.

► Verse 9 describes a way these virtues can be practiced. In your own words, describe how this practice works and why it's a good idea.
Wisdom is “the art of living well.” ... a skill and expertise acquired through study, practice, and discipline.
Zach Keele, The Unfolding Word:► How would you describe wisdom based on verses 10-11?
► What reasons does verse 12 give us for living virtuously and wisely?

Virtues of Willingly Subjecting Yourself to Others (3:8-9)
And finally, all of you be
like minded,
sympathetic,
loving,
compassionate,
and humble,
9 not paying back
evil for evil,
or insult for insult,
but instead,
pay back with a blessing,
because to this you were called, so that you may receive a blessing.

Wisdom for Willingly Subjecting Yourself to Others (3:10-12)
For whoever desires life, and to see good days,
must stop his tongue from evil,
and his lips from speaking deceit;
11 must turn away from evil,
and do good;
must seek peace
and pursue it.
12 Because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and His ears to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those doing evil”.
