Robocup@Home 2024
Robocup@Home 2024
As first-time participants in RoboCup@Home, the team demonstrated the stability of their hardware system and the seamless integration of various software tasks, including navigation, manipulation, perception, and human-robot interaction through NLP. The team showcased the robot's capabilities and the system's overall functionality.
RoboSoft 2023 - Food Manipulation Competition
In April 2023 Singapore, Hugo, Jessica, James, and Kai competed in the RoboSoft competition for food manipulation. In this competition, autonomous food manipulation was performed using computer vision to detect the pose of food objects, manipulation planning, and using a soft gripper.
ICRA 2023 - PUB-R Competition
In May 2023 London, Kai and Max competed in the PUB-R competition, which involved preperation of a full English breakfast autonomously. Using the ADAPT Hand (12 dof soft-rigid anthropomorphic hand), and visual servoing to adjust open loop motions, the robot handled different tools to manipulation food objects similar to how a human would using tools designed for humans.
