Here is a variety of Catlin Tucker templates that can inspire you to get started with blended learning.
"The beauty of the station rotation model lies in the small group dynamic, opportunities to differentiate more consistently, and increased student control over the pace at which they move through individual tasks."
This strategy "free[s] the teacher from needing to be 'on' presenting information or orchestrating the lesson. If teachers design a 'choose your path learning adventure,' students can enjoy some voice and choice in the experience and control the pace at which they process information and complete tasks."
Also check out the "would you rather" option.
"The playlist model presents a strategy teachers can use to structure learning experiences that are more personalized to the needs of specific learners, provide students with more agency, and free the teacher to spend time connecting with and coaching learners as they progress through the playlist."
This online lesson template involves the use of Roger Bybee's 5Es instructional model: engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate.
This template for a concurrent (or hybrid) lesson is broken into five parts: welcome task or bell ringer, present-pause-discuss, I do-We do-You do, collaborative practice, and exit ticket.
"If students are going to develop as learners, then they need to track their progress, reflect on their specific skills, and identify areas that need more time, attention, and improvement." This template can help with that reflection.
"Conferencing sessions are one of the most effective strategies for connecting with learners in class or online." Conferencing should "prioritize student agency" and be "student-centered".
