Communicate!
We will figure out the best way to catch up on any missed material.
If this is a COVID-related event, please report via the COVID Procedures found here... https://www.whittier.edu/covid19
If you know you will miss a class, please communicate with me as I must keep track due to COVID reporting policies.
If you miss a class whereby we complete an in-class exercise, you can check Moodle for the missed assignment and upload within one day of the class period
Academic Honesty: Academic dishonesty is unacceptable on all levels. This includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism and cheating or copying on homework, quizzes or exams. All incidents of cheating or plagiarism will be reported to the Dean of Students. Please read the Whittier College Academic Honesty Policy at:
Whittier College is committed to make learning experiences as accessible as possible. If you experience physical or academic barriers due to a disability, you are encouraged to contact Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to discuss options. To learn more about academic accommodations, drop by our center (ground floor of Wardman Library), email sas@whittier.edu, or contact 562-907-4825.
Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, which includes sexual misconduct – including harassment, domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We understand that sexual violence can undermine students’ academic success, and we encourage anyone dealing with sexual misconduct to talk to someone about their experience, so they can get the support they need. Confidential support can be found with the Whittier College Counseling Center. See https://www.whittier.edu/policies/sexualmisconduct for more information.
