SEI Inventor, one of the programs developed by School Of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, of which Politecnico of Torino is one of the founders, is a ten-day prototype boot camp given 2 times/year entirely conducted within a makerspace in Turin, where university students (from undergraduate to PhD) passionate about technology and innovation can create a prototype supported by mentors and experts. The participants are divided into teams with diverse skills and supported by mentors and experts in the field of making, innovation and entrepreneurship, experiment with the ideation, prototyping and presentation of a business idea. All participants learn to use tools such as 3D printers, laser cutting machines, basic programming boards (Arduino & Raspberry Pi).
