Summer school engineering & management

Course description

This summer School on engineering and management is organised by KU Leuven and Fachhochschule Dortmund. This year’s topic will cover ‘Enterprise Architecture’. The focus is the application of the TOGAF methodology which is a holistic approach to elaborate the strategy, business architecture and technology & IT architecture of an enterprise. You’ll work together in small interdisciplinary groups on real case studies from the industry. You’ll do interviews with the company to better understand their business and processes and you will go through one cycle of the TOGAF process. The project work is supported by coaching and lessons from experts. At the end of the week the student teams pitch their project to the company.

  • Prerequisites: Master of Science in Bioengineering Technology (all) or Master of Bioscience engineering (all) or Master of Science in Engineering Science (all) or Master of Science in Engineering Technology (all)
  • Language level: Minumum English level B2. IELTS or TOEFL certificate is prefered.
