I am Ensar, a Ph.D. candidate and Lab Manager at the Moral Intuitions Lab in Istanbul, working at the intersection of social psychology and behavioral economics within an international research network.
My research examines how morality, cooperation, and belief systems emerge and change through the joint influence of biological predispositions and cultural processes. Grounded in Dual Inheritance Theory, I use experimental and cross-cultural methods to study how cognitive styles, social norms, and evolved tendencies interact to shape human behavior. Methodological rigor and open science are central commitments of my work.
This website presents my research, ongoing projects, and academic activities. I welcome collaboration and conversation, both within academia and beyond it, wherever careful and evidence-based thinking about the human mind and behavior is needed.
