Professor in the Department of Architecture, Urbanism and Design and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). He holds a doctorate in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (2017), and was a Visiting Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence (Italy, 2018) and at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (Rouen-France, 2023). He is an expert member of ICOMOS, CIPA and RILEM. He is the Coordinator of the Digitalisation of Ceará's Cultural Heritage Project, supported by FUNCAP.
He holds a master's degree in architecture from UNAM and is a research professor in the Architecture Department of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design, UAM-Xochimilco. Coordinator of the Field of Architecture, Development and Sustainability of the Master's Degree in Architecture at UNAM. Member of the Colegio de Arquitectos Mexicanos, A.C., he was advisor and general director of supervision of the Chamber of Deputies of the State of Oaxaca and secretary of Public Works in the State of Nayarit. He has received a dozen design awards. Academically, he has 43 years of teaching service, both at UNAM and UAM, at postgraduate and undergraduate level. Currently, he is the Coordinator of the 7th Module in the Architecture Degree at UAM-Xochimilco.
He holds a doctorate and master's degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture, UNAM, and a degree in architectural engineering from the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería y Arquitectura, IPN. Since 1983 he has been a tenured research professor at the CyAD Division, UAM-Xochimilco. He was director of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design, UAM-X from 2007-2011 and head of the Department of Technology and Production of the CyAD Division, UAM-X, 2005-2007. He is author and co-author of several publications on the construction of prisons and buildings in Mesoamerica. He has coordinated several national and international academic conferences.
Architect (Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires), Master's in Social Anthropology (IDES-IDAES-UNSAM), holds a doctorate from the University of Buenos Aires in the field of Geography (Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, Adjunct Researcher at the National Council for Research in Science and Technology (CONICET), she works at the Andean Architectures and Land Construction Laboratory of the "Rodolfo Kusch" Institute for Research into Nature and Society (National University of Jujuy), in the city of Tilcara, Jujuy province, Argentina. Her work focuses on the study of earth construction techniques in the highlands of Jujuy and their dynamics over time.
Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (2011), a Master's in Civil Engineering from the Federal Centre for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (2014) and doctorate from the Doctoral Programme in Civil Engineering at the University of Porto (2019). Since 2016 she has been a permanent professor at the Federal Centre for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). She has experience in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on heritage rehabilitation, working mainly with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. She is a leading researcher in the LAR Research Group - Laboratory for the Evaluation and Rehabilitation of the Built Environment, certified by CEFET-MG.
She holds a degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBa), a master's degree in Urban Environmental Structures from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP) and a doctorate in Theory and Criticism of Architecture from Propar - Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with an internship at the Università Roma Tre. She has experience in the field of Architecture and Urbanism, with emphasis in History and Theory, concentrating on the following themes: architecture and city of the 19th and 20th centuries, Brazilian architecture, contemporary architecture and heritage. She has been a lecturer in the Architecture course at UniFil since 2003. She is currently doing a post-doctorate in restoration at FAUUSP and is a member of the coordination team of Docomomo Brasil 2024-2025.
