By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the App and delete it.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms Of Service and Subscription Terms.
Enough is a non-medical, educational, and self-help application designed to assist users with personal habit tracking and motivation related to reducing pornography consumption.
The App is not a healthcare service, medical device, therapy platform, counseling service, or treatment program.
Enough does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Enough does not create, receive, maintain, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the App is not a “Part 2 Program” under 42 CFR Part 2 governing substance use disorder treatment records.
No doctor–patient, therapist–client, or healthcare provider relationship is created through the App.
Information entered by users may include personal or sensitive behavioral information. Such information is voluntarily entered by users for personal habit tracking purposes within the App.
Users seeking professional assistance related to addiction, compulsive behavior, or mental health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The App is intended to provide informational tools and personal habit-tracking features to support user-directed behavior change.
Enough does not monitor user activity outside the App and does not guarantee any specific outcomes related to behavioral change, habit formation, or abstinence.
Users remain solely responsible for their personal decisions, actions, and behaviors. The App should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or counseling services.
We collect only the data necessary (or voluntarily provided) to deliver App functionality, personalization, insights, and improvements.
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information When creating an account, we may collect:
Email Address
Google Photo URL (if applicable)
Creation date / Last sign-in date
Name and Age
Profile and Preferences Users may voluntarily provide additional information such as habit goals, motivational notes, religion, and personalization settings. Providing this information is optional.
Habit Tracking and Behavioral Logs Users may voluntarily enter information relating to personal habits, including:
Streak Tracking and Relapse Logs
Quitting Reasons and Journal Entries
Triggers, Mood Check-ins, and Self-assessment responses
This information is used solely to generate in-App tracking tools and insights controlled by the user. Enough does not independently verify the accuracy of such entries.
Payment and Subscription Information Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or third-party processors like Stripe. Enough does not store full credit card numbers or payment credentials.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device and Technical Information: Device model, OS version, App version, IP address, and crash reports.
Usage and Analytics Data: Features used, session duration, and performance metrics (processed through tools like Firebase).
Permissions: The App may request optional permissions for Push Notifications or Camera Access (for avatars/features). These can be revoked in device settings.
1.3 Community and Shared Content
If you participate in community features (forums/chats), we collect the content you voluntarily submit. Information shared here is visible to other participants. Users should avoid sharing highly sensitive details in public areas.
Enough processes sensitive behavioral information (related to habits and emotional states) only to provide the requested habit-tracking features. This information is never sold, used for advertising profiling, or shared with data brokers.
Personal logs and notes are controlled by the user. You may enter, edit, or delete this information at any time. Enoughdoes not monitor personal logs except to maintain platform integrity or enforce Terms of Service.
We use collected information to:
Provide and maintain App functionality and user accounts.
Generate progress analytics and habit-tracking insights.
Improve product performance and detect fraud/abuse.
Communicate service updates and process billing.
Where GDPR applies, we process data based on: Performance of a Contract, Legitimate Interests (security/analytics), Consent (optional features), and Legal Obligations.
Enough does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with:
Service Providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, and payment processors contractually bound to protect your data.
Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect user safety.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the successor entity under the same privacy protections.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system is 100% secure; users should protect their own account credentials.
We retain information as long as necessary to provide App functionality. When a user deletes their account, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal information, unless retention is required for legal or financial obligations.
Depending on your location (GDPR/CCPA), you may have the right to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Withdraw consent for optional features.
To exercise these rights, contact us at: kreni046@umn.edu.
Because the App addresses topics relating to sexual behavior, Enough is intended for users at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from minors below this age.
Users may delete their account through the App settings or by contacting kreni046@umn.edu.
12 . Content blocker ( screen time)
Enough offers an optional Content Blocker that lets you restrict access to
specific apps, app categories, and websites that interfere with your recovery.
This feature uses Apple's FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks
(part of Screen Time).
What we collect:
Nothing identifiable about your selections. Apple's framework provides Enough
with only opaque tokens that represent the apps and websites you chose — not
their names, URLs, or any human-readable identifier. Enough never sees which
specific apps or sites you selected to block.
Where it is stored:
Your selection tokens and the on/off state of the shield are stored locally
on your device in iOS UserDefaults. This information is not transmitted to
our servers, not synced across your devices, and not shared with any third
party. The restrictions themselves are applied and enforced by iOS at the
system level.
Authorization scope:
Enough requests "individual" Screen Time authorization, which means you are
granting restrictions on your own device for your own use. Enough is not a
parental control or organizational management tool and cannot apply
restrictions to anyone else.
How to disable it:
You can turn off the Content Blocker at any time from within Enough. You can
also revoke Screen Time access for Enough entirely in iOS Settings →
Screen Time → Apps with Access (or Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen
Time, depending on iOS version), which will remove the app's ability to
apply any restrictions.
What the system block screen shows:
When you attempt to open a blocked app or website, iOS displays its standard
Screen Time block screen. This is shown by the operating system, not by
Enough, and Enough is not informed of the attempt.
