Nominees MUST have:
Completed Bachelors degree
Completed EJPME (Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education) I & II
No greater than 18 years Time In Service prior to selection
Exceptional communication and writing abilities
Excellent military bearing and dress & appearance
It is highly desired that nominees have:
Completed applicable Senior Noncommissioned Officer Professional Military Education requirements prior to selection
Knowledge of recent events in national security affairs and international relations and working knowledge of the current National Defense Strategy
Previous joint operations assignments/knowledge of the joint environment
Ability to work autonomously with little oversight
In order to volunteer for consideration, Guardians must indicate their desire on the E-7 or E-8 TMB SOI (Statement of Intent). Volunteers will be required to submit a SINGLE PDF application to include the following:
SURF
Last 3 EPRs or equivalent service performance report
Official biography without photograph (reference AFH 33-337, Tongue and Quill for format)
Memorandum for Record which includes: full name, SSN, grade, current position title, organization address, work telephone number, email address, home address, home telephone number, and the following required statement: “I agree to remain on active duty to meet all ADSC requirements after selection for this fellowship. I agree not to request separation or retirement while participating in the program.”
Single-page Memorandum for Record indicating the reason for applying to the program, the relevance of the fellowship to career goals, and how the fellowship will be utilized.
Maximum of two separate endorsement letters (one endorsement letter must come from an O-6 or higher in your direct chain of command)
