During this interview with Healio, Dr. Pruinelli discussed her team’s development of an AI model designed to predict which breast cancer patients are at risk for chronic pain. Using data from NIH’s All of Us program, the model achieved 72.8% accuracy and 82% in predictive performance.

Dr. Pruinelli highlighted key factors linked to chronic pain, such as anxiety, depression, and prior cancer diagnoses.
