English Quest is an English learning application that helps users practice vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, speaking, quizzes, progress tracking, and leaderboard-based learning motivation.

1. Information We Collect

English Quest may collect and store the following information when users create an account or use app features:

- Email address: used for account login, password reset, and account authentication.

- User ID: used to identify the user account and synchronize learning progress.

- Nickname, avatar, profile code, and XP: used for the online leaderboard.

- Learning progress: including completed lessons, XP, coins, badges, streaks, and learning activity.

- Local app data: stored on the user’s device to support app progress and offline usage.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

- create and manage user accounts;

- allow users to log in and reset passwords;

- synchronize learning progress;

- show user progress inside the app;

- display leaderboard ranking using nickname, avatar, profile code, and XP;

- improve the learning experience.

3. Online Leaderboard

English Quest includes an online leaderboard.

The leaderboard may display:

- nickname;

- avatar;

- profile code;

- XP.

The leaderboard does not display:

- email address;

- password;

- detailed learning history;

- private progress data.

4. Data Storage and Services

English Quest uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to support account login, progress synchronization, and leaderboard features.

Learning progress may also be stored locally on the user’s device.

5. Data Sharing

English Quest does not sell user data.

We do not share user data with advertisers or third parties for advertising purposes.

Data may be processed by Firebase/Google services as part of providing authentication, database, hosting, security, and related infrastructure services.

6. Account and Data Deletion

Users can delete their account and related data directly inside the app:

1. Open English Quest.

2. Login to your account.

3. Open Progress Center.

4. Open Account & Data.

5. Choose Hapus Akun & Data / Delete Account & Data.

6. Enter your password to confirm deletion.

Users can also request account or data deletion through our Delete Account & Data Request page.

When an account is deleted, English Quest deletes:

- the user account;

- online progress data;

- leaderboard entry;

- locally stored progress data on the device.

7. Children, Teens, and Mixed Audience

English Quest is designed for a mixed audience of beginner English learners, including children, teens, and adults. Content is educational and intended to be appropriate for the age groups selected in Google Play Console.

Children should use the app with parent, guardian, teacher, or other authorized adult consent where required by local law. Parents or guardians may request account/data deletion using the in-app tools or the public deletion request page.

8. Security

We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules to help protect user account and progress data.

Users are responsible for keeping their password secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
