科技輔助教學與簡報 Technology Assisted Instruction and Presentation

This course is an introduction to an interdisciplinary system: technology, media and learning. It integrates instructional design principles, methods, media and software in order to design technology-enhanced presentation materials that facilitate learning and communication. This course helps students identify and learn different forms of media and software applied in education or workplaces and how they can be applied.

電腦輔助書目及研究暨知識管理 Computer Research & Knowledge Management

This course is designed to help students to know how to find sources for doing research and writing research papers (in English) with the assistance of computer technology. Our focus will be on the research-design methods and skills (particularly data collection using short surveys). However, activities dealing with the electronic information sources (e.g. on-line search, Chinese and English databases, webliography, EndNote, Turnitin) and computer-generated data outcome (e.g. database management of notes, word processing, and data analysis with Excel) will also be done.

電腦應用及程式設計 Applied Computer Technology and Programming

This course provides a basic introduction of Machine Learning (ML). Resources from Google Cloud Platform will be utilized to provide a fundamental ideas about the history, purpose and value of Machine learning, and how neural networks do in solving data science problems. Tools such as TensorFlow will also be covered. Students who take this course will be asked to take two Coursera courses provided by Google Cloud Platforms.

遊戲運用與程式設計 Game-based programming

This course aims to increase students’ understanding and motivation in programming learning via various game-based programming tools. Through visualized and gamified programming environments as well as problem-based learning/ pair programming activities, students could design computer games by themselves, collaborate and communicate among peers, and thereby build up basic computer skills.

Web伺服器架設與網頁設計 Homepage & Web Server Design (全人_自然科技_潘東名)

Lead students to set up, manage Web servers and learn web editing skills.The course will be teaching standard grammars of HTML5 and CSS3. In the course, MS Expression Web 4 free software is used as the main page editing software, and others are supplemented.

試算表與程式設計 Electronic Spreadsheet and Programming (全人_自然科技_楊志田)

1. Establish basic programming concepts2. Use the experience of Excel with the production of recording macro, and connect to VBA programming. Then use VBA programming experience to connect to other types of programming.3. Know EXCEL VBA basic programming4. Know PYTHON basic programming
