Wednesday 27 March (afternoon): Trip to Dazaifu

On the afternoon of 27 March, there will be a trip to Dazaifu to see the traditional shopping street, the famous Tenmangu Shrine with cherry blossoms, and the Kyushu National Museum. The plan is to meet at Tenjin Nishittsu Railway Station, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nishitetsu_Fukuoka_(Tenjin)_Station) at around 13:00. We can met in the Terminal area upstairs (1st Floor)(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nishitetsu_Fukuoka_(Tenjin)_Station#/media/File:Nishitetsu_Fukuoka_Tenjin_Station_North_Gate.jpg). There is a train departing at 13:30 direction Omuta (after 15min it reaches Futsukaichi Station, and there is a transfer train to Dazaifu). Probably we will be in the Tenmangu Shrine area by about 14:30. The ride takes about 30min.

Thursday 28 March (evening): Conference Dinner

At the end of the first day's talks (Friday 28th March), there will be a conference dinner at Hilton Skyhawk Hotel (starting around 19:00). This will be an all-you-can eat buffet and drinks menu, so most dietary needs will be met. The total price is 5000 Yen. For 2 hours, this is not a bad deal. The Hilton Hotel is about 15min walk from the conference venue.
