My name is Anabella Jaramillo and I'm a freshmen at College of Coastal Georgia attending Dr. McGinnis' 1101 English Composition class. I'm a Criminal Justice major and my goal is to eventually work internationally on Human Trafficking Prevention. I come from a immigrant Hispanic household (Cuban, Colombian) and I was born and raised in Miami, FL. I'm a volleyball player here at Coastal and I have an adorable cat named Zara Maria, as seen on the picture on the left.
In Project 1 students were asked to create a self reflective paper in great detail. I chose to write about the way I physically present myself and the way my behavior changes around different groups.
In Project 2 students were asked to rhetorically analyze a news article in a podcast format.
In this Project students were put into groups of 4-5 and asked to create some sort of media for their chosen service provider.
Piggybacking off of project 3, groups had to create a poster board about their service learning project.
In Project 5 students were asked to analyze a controversial commercial or music video, through the eyes of Jean Kilbourne.
