Abstract Submission

All students enrolled in postgraduate programs and doctoral dissertations are eligible to participate. Those who are interested to participate, need to follow the instructions bellow:

Send the title and summary of your paper (200-300 words excluding bibliography) in electronic form (.doc/docx or .pdf file) at the following e-mail address: 9thconference.phil.ekpa[at]gmail[dot]com
In the subject of the e-mail it is necessary to indicate only the department for which the summary is intended.
Abstracts will be sent in two copies; one signed and one anonymous.
The languages accepted by the committee are Greek and English.
Posters will only be accepted for the direction of Linguistics.
For any further questions the participants can contact the organizing comittee at the same email adress.

All abstracts in order to be accepted should follow the instructions bellow:

Font: Times New Roman 12pt
Lead: 1.5
Text alignment: fully justified
For the anonymous copy: Title (centered)

In the signed one, the participants must include the following details:

Surname and first name
University
Stage of Study [postgraduate student or doctoral candidate (Report if there is a scholarship)]
Email
Phone

Deadline for submitting abstracts: 14 July 2017.
Results of the evaluation: 21 July 2017.

The duration of each lecture is set strictly to fifteen minutes (15'), followed by a discussion of five (5') minutes.

Regarding the posters of Linguistics:

Τhe organizing committee doesn’t have the means to hang or present the poster. Therefore, it is exclusively the responsibility of the participant to do so.
The printing cost burdens the author and the poster must be ready and brought by the author at the conference.
The poster session will be scheduled at a time and place where no other (oral) presentations are conducted. The author must be present and accompany his/her poster during the whole poster session.
For each poster there will be a surface (the size isn’t yet defined ). Ideally, display your poster in one piece (or more or any other format as long as it is within the surface area provided). The use of one large sheet of paper is preferred.
Posters should be legible from 1m. distance (without implying the use of huge font).

Structure of the poster:

Top: the title, your name, your institute and your e-mail address.
We recommend that you provide a short abstract (no more than 100-150 words).
Poster modules/sections: Introduction, Methodology, Research, Findings, Conclusion, Bibliography. Avoid any unnecessary details.

Abstracts which do NOT ABIDE by all instructions above will be REJECTED at once

i.e they won't be forwarded to the fellow departments for evaluation.
