English 1101 Portfolio

Hi there! My name is Destiny Craig, and I am 17 years old. I'm a Junior at Brunswick High School. After high school I plan to go to college for Pediatric Nursing, or Veterinary Science. My favorite color is pink , and I love sushi. I was born in Chicago, IL, November 18. I'm passionate about cooking, skin care, and children. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at the Glynn County Animal Control Center.

My google site will include 4 projects, in which I will briefly explain. Project 1 includes an essay of me explain how my culture/ historical background effects how I communicate. Project 2 includes a rhetorical podcast analysis in which I chose a main stream article and tried to convince the reader that the article is effective and the rhetorical decisions the author made were significant. Project 3 includes a visual media analysis where I observed, described, and responded to the cultural codes communicated in that piece of media. Lastly, Project 4 includes a group project where we created a presentation for a community partner based on their needs, as well as a poster.
