This course has allowed me to learn and master many aspects of becoming a great writer and creator. I have a better understanding of the process to which is best for certain projects, and I can confidently create anything I wish using this writing process. Projects such as the poster presentation and project 3 allowed me to develop my own creativity for the visual rhetoric of a certain piece using methods such as the big 4.
My overall writing skills have also been upgraded thanks to all of these projects in which they challenged my ability to not only comprehend the significance of certain aspects of an assignment, but also to properly display my opinions and findings in a way that gives the reader further information.
This was the first time I had conducted an in-depth study on any certain topic, so these projects not only taught me complex concepts, but also tested how well I can pick something new up and deliver on a collegiate level. The process of taking from multiple scholarly sources, conducting my own primary research, and interpreting my results along with analyzing my findings truly was a challenge to me, and was no easy task. I am proud, however, to have performed in the light which I did, and I now have a newfound confidence in my level of processing and investigating a certain topic.
When using so many sources it is always essential to understand how to cite your findings whether that be in-text citing or a bulleted citing page. I am glad that I will not be in any trouble not knowing how to give credit to the findings I make, and I am more aware to not use anyone’s work improperly.
Overall, my skill level of the writing and researching process has not only increased, but exceeded the expectations I had for myself which is very special to me and I am grateful for the impacts this course has had on my abilities.
