About Me

Hey everyone my name is Ashley Mcfarlane. I am 26 years old and I was born in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. Unfortunately I can't remember anything about living in Germany because I moved to the United States around the age of 3. I moved around quite a bit but grew up mostly in Pennsylvania. I graduated at Holy Redeemer High School in 2011 and took some years off before attending college.

Hobbies

With most of my free time I like to go shopping, watch my favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu, and listen to music. I also enjoy spending time with my family. My boyfriend and I live together with our two kids Mariah and Josiah. They have motivated me to get back in school and pursue my career.

Portfolio Details

I am currently enrolled at College of Coastal Georgia perusing my bachelors in business administration. I am in the process of completing my first semester and I must say it has been a roller coaster. Some classes were tough and some were easy. One class that I learned a lot in is my English Composition 1101 class. I've enjoyed taking this course because it wasn't like the typical English class that I was expecting. I learned material that I could use in an actually work environment.

This portfolio includes the projects I have competed for this class. These projects are a cultural autobiography, a podcast that includes a script, an analysis of a visual media and a multi modal group project.
