The purpose of this summer camp :

Students :

• We hope by talking to them in English, they could get used to having a conversation in English and not fear the prospect of talking to a foreigner.
• We teach them how to read a book, film it, and show them the vidoe of them reading. By doing this, we hope to show them that they have the ability to read a English book.
• We play English educational games. For example : Hangman, London Bridge is Falling down, Simon Says, etc. We hope by playing these games we can improve their vocabulary and simple sentences.

Volunteers:

• “Whoever teaches learns in the act of teaching, and whoever learns teaches in the act of learning.” — Paulo Freire
• We teach students in English and by doing so, also improve the teacher's English speaking skills and the ability to give a impromptu speech.
• We teach the students and the volunteers slowly develop a better method of teaching young children.
