Today we will be reviewing the article "Footage shows a sea of blood after close to 1,500 dolphins were killed in a traditional mass hunt in the Faroe Islands" by Cheryl Teh. This article was published by Insider, along with gruesome twitter posts from animal activist groups mentioned in the article. We will be evaluating the author's view on the events that have taken place along with dissecting her tone and her target audience. We will closely analyze the sources that Teh uses, in addition to the quotes that she chooses in the article. In the article Teh goes through multiple credible sources (Ethos) to go through the gruesome details (pathos) that happened in the traditional hunt, we will see if the sources are biased or not biased to see how Teh really feels about these events. With this amount of kills being the highest ever recorded for the Islands, there is a lot of controversy on the hunts.
