Good morning honourable principal, respected teachers and my dear students. It is a pleasure to speak in front of you all on “Threats of deadly viruses and the ways to prevent it”. Deadly viruses put the whole human lives under threat. This cannot be seen with naked eyes.
Viruses make us ill by reducing our immunity. Sometimes it even ends up in death. They spread up through several mediums. The well known viruses around the world are Ebola, SARS, Marburg, HIV, Corona etc. I hope that you all are well aware of Corona as we recently experienced it.
As we learnt in our Health & Physical education subject we should always close our mouth when sneezing and avoid spitting in the public places. Most of the viruses spread through touching. Even as you are well aware during the Corona outbreak we were instructed to wash our hands frequently and to wear a mask in the crowded places.
In our school we can prevent it through proper garbage disposal and placing buckets to spit. I hope that you all can remember the instruction to maintain six feet distance with our friends if they have the symptoms such as cough, sneeze and running nose during the Corona virus spread. We must keep that practice forever in order to protect ourselves from these deadly viruses.
If we keep ourselves and our environment clean we will be able to say good bye to all deadly viruses. Thank you all for this wonderful opportunity.

Good morning honourable Principal, respected teachers and my dear students. It is a pleasure to speak in front of you all on “The importance of learning English in the modern world” at this English Activity Day. English is not only a language; it is an international passport for communication.
This modern world is leads by computerized robotic systems. In other word Global world is also known as global village. Almost all the human works are replaced by machinery systems. Most of the machinery systems are based on the Global Language; English. So it is vital for all of us to learn English.
In addition to this, as I said earlier this era is not a global world. It is a global village with the help of Internet. Through internet, once after our secondary education we can pursue our higher education from the leading universities all around the world. This reduces the travelling and accommodation cost, time duration and also enables us to study from our home.
My dear friends, if we are fluent in English we will be able to work all around the world physically or through the electronic systems. For example you can work for multinational giants through the E-Systems from your place. This requires fluency in English.
English opens the door of success in our future. English Activity Day enables us to develop our spoken and listening skills. I expect you all to place good thoughts all around the school in English, which will help us to improve our language skills. English is the key of success. Thank you all for this wonderful opportunity.
