Project 1: Considering this is the first project we have done; I have to say it went well. This is a project I have never done before so choosing what I wanted to review was nice, this made it feel less like an assignment and more like my own research. If I were to redo the review, I would do something other than a book I just read. The reason for this is considering my other classes and classwork, I could not take my time reading the book I chose for the project as wanted. I have always understood a review so I would say my understanding didn’t change if anything just improved. I would say this writing came naturally to me, it was almost like writing an analysis/summary of a book for any English class.
Project 2: After reviewing my previous project reflection for project 1, I still feel the same. This project went well. I enjoyed doing this project because it was almost like a review for myself of what I already knew while focusing on one thing and becoming an expert in it. That one thing for me was the horror genre. Just like the first project, it was nice being able to choose one of the subgenres from the genre as a whole. I can't think of anything I would go back and redo on this project if anything I think hearing about my peer's work would be beneficial to us all, so we got an idea of all the subgenres and not just the one we chose. I did not struggle with anything while completing this project I felt it was very straightforward and easy to complete. I also felt like my interest remained throughout the project rather than not.
