The DESE Engagement Unit is committed to ensuring that Arkansas, families, schools, and communities are successfully engaging with each other to improve education and student outcomes. To that end, we provide information, training/facilitation, and counsel for the groups who have a stake in our children's success both in and out of the classroom.
Engagement Coordinators and Facilitators from Arkansas districts and schools are invited to come to this monthly learn and share virtual event. We usually begin with a few specific announcements and resources, followed by timely conversations around improving family engagement in all types of communities. Meetings will not be recorded, but meeting notes will be emailed out each month.
