Family And community EngagEMENt Framework

The Family and Community Engagement Framework was put into place in order for all stakeholders to have a common language and approach, and to have access to tools for continuous inquiry and improvement that play a critical role in helping schools-families-community members focus on what matters most for students to learn and thrive.

In Arkansas, we use the "Plan-Do-Check" Cycle of Inquiry for continuous improvement.

We also engage stakeholders in two-way conversations, and co-create with them via our "Engagement in Action" process.
District and School leaders engage in constant self-reflection and data-driven decision-making cycles.
