Call for participation
Engagement drives the success of digital health interventions, yet it remains one of their most complex challenges. Join us in our workshop on Engagement in Digital Health Interventions (DHIs): we aim to bring together researchers from psychology, computer science, HCI, health sciences and neighboring fields to tackle this challenge from multiple perspectives. We will discuss approaches to i) understanding, ii) measuring, and (iii) designing for engagement with DHIs. To do so, the workshop will feature interactive discussions, presentations of use cases, and practical group activities.
We encourage submissions from both novice and experienced researchers who are interested in engagement withDHIs. Participants will be selected based on their submissions, which can be either:
1. A use case (2 pages max.) about their previous work on engagement: how they defined, measured, designed for
engagement and their lessons learned. Writing an abstract is not needed.
2. A statement of interest (300-500 words) describing interest in the topic, future plans or ideas for measuring and
designing for engagement, and burning questions.
Note: Word/page limits are excluding references
We plan to publish the proceedings (i.e., accepted use cases and statements of interest) on the workshop website and on https://ceur-ws.org/ upon participants’ consent. At least one author of each accepted submission must attend the workshop, and all participants must register for both the workshop and at least one day of the conference.
Before submitting, please note:
Because our submission form uses Google Forms, you will be required to login with your Google account in order to be able to upload files. If you do not wish to provide your Google address or you do not have one, please email your submission to s.bastoni@utwente.nl.
