                                                           The Tourists

The three tourists, a young couple named Ben and Sarah and their friend, John, were excited to be visiting the ancient city of Machu Picchu. They had been planning this trip for months, and they were eager to see the ruins for themselves.

They arrived in Cusco, the gateway to Machu Picchu, early in the morning. After checking into their hotel, they headed to the train station to catch the train to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu.

The train ride was short, and soon they were in Aguas Calientes. They checked into their hotel and then headed to the main square to explore. The square was full of tourists, and there were vendors selling souvenirs and food.

After a while, they decided to head up to Machu Picchu. They took the bus up the mountain, and soon they were at the entrance to the ruins. They were amazed by the sight of the ruins, which were perched on a mountaintop overlooking a lush valley.

They spent the next few hours exploring the ruins. They saw the temples, the palaces, and the agricultural terraces. They were amazed by the engineering and the beauty of the ruins.

As they were leaving, they saw a group of people gathered around a man who was giving a lecture. The man was talking about the history of Machu Picchu and the importance of sustainable tourism.
