You will build your grade in this class through four different weighted grading categories and a fifth category that covers a series of research modules that you will complete over the course of the semester. Each learning unit features different assignments of different point totals. Typically it’s a mix of low-stakes practice and discussion along with higher-totaled essay drafts and workshops. You can follow along in Canvas – there’s even a “what-if” feature where you can put in points for assignments to see how it would affect your grade. Check it out!
