Yes, after moving in you will get a mail with a TOKEN for the Internet, instructions on how to enable the connection are in the leaflet.

If you notice your room is swarmed with cockroaches, black beetles or other nasty insects, or you've noticed bedbugs running around on your bed, inform the administration immediately. Don't bring your belongings inside. If you are moving in outside the working hours of the administration, contact the Residents' Council. If you encounter just a few cockroaches in your room or segment, ask for special traps or a local disinsection at the administration.

Note that there are regular disinsection procedures taking place in the entire Student House at least once per three months. Find more information on how to prepare for it on the Disinsections page.

A broken fridge, bed or a chair can be replaced at Mr. Jurek's (repairman) place. His working hours are 8:00 to around 14:00 and his room is the farmost at the right side of the basement in Tulipan. More serious problems, e.g. ruined or entirely absent furniture, windows, doors, locks or mould problems must be directed to the administration.

Yes, the vacuum cleaners are lent by the authorised residents. Their details are listed in the description of the Facebook group.

Our local network administrator is Janusz Kopytowski, room T212A, all the Internet problems are best directed to him.

The garbage is taken to a special container located in the courtyard, close to DS Akademik. It is not segregated.

The laundry is located on the ground floor in Pineska and in the basement in Tulipan.

Yes, you can, however there are certain restrictions because of the COVID. As per the regulation, you have to personally meet your guest at the reception and they must write down their personal information in the logbook. Visits are possible from 6:00 to 22:00. There is also a limit of two guests per one resident.

If your guest wants to stay after 22:00 they must have a so called "overnight stay permit". You have to fill it in, have it signed by a member of the Residents' Council and deliver it to the reception no later than 22:00 on the day your guest is planning to stay.

Yes. All the rooms are listed on the "Common Rooms" page. Before you use the room you must read the regulations and contact its caretaker.
