This is a basic level course on Behavioral Addictions involving Use of Internet. The course is mainly a skill building coursed targeted at the teachers, counselors and psychologists. Additionally, it aims to strengthen the knowledge of the participants on the theme of Behavioral Addictions involving Internet Use. This includes what is commonly referred to as internet addiction, gaming disorder, screen addiction, mobile addiction, among others.
The participants are expected to put the learning in to practice. Children, adolescents and young adults are particularity vulnerable to the adverse consequences associated with Behavioral Addictions involving Internet Use. The teachers, counselors, clinical psychologists can leverage their close association with children, adolescents and young adults to translate learning into practice.
