A portable spa takes precedence when adding luxurious elements to your home. In simple terms, a portable spa sits above the ground. All the equipment required to run it is present within the main cabinetry. You can place a portable spa anywhere inside or outside if they are on a stable and flat surface.
There are three main types of portable spas - inflatable spas, hard side spas, and fibreglass spas. An inflatable portable spa can be made up of multiple materials. You might see that many brands use various layers of materials for the spa walls. These include PVC (a synthetic thermoplastic), a drop stitch fabric, a UV protection layer and laminated fabric.
If you plan to get a spa in the pool, check out a few factors.
The first factor is the safety concern. The spa must have a lockable hard cover so that small children cannot get into the spa when you are not looking. The alternate option is to fence your spa (which is not desirable!).
The next option is to look at the aesthetics of the spa. Choose a cabinet created from synthetic material. It looks like timber. Or you can opt for natural wood like Western Red Cedar. Also, the spa's colour can vary with a few options like greys and blues.
Considering the spa's functionality, note how the spa is getting heated and how long the heat is retained. The spa should have high insulation between the cabinet and the shell of the spa. Also, you should be able to control the heat generated.
Ease of operations is another crucial factor for a portable spa. Is it as easy as plugging it in and filling up the water? How are you turning the spa on and off? How are you controlling the jets and accessories? Also, check how many sprays are included, where are they placed and how easily you can manoeuvre them.
The placement of spa jets is crucial. It doesn't matter how many spa jets are there if they are not in the right place. And finally, don't forget to check the number of people that can sit in the portable spa. A small two-person spa is enough if you and your partner use it. However, if you want to entertain your friends, you must choose something bigger.
Choosing a portable spa instead of a permanently installed one has numerous benefits.
Firstly, you can shift the spa in the pool wherever you want. The portability means you can move them within the backyard as and when you want. It is excellent, especially when you want to revamp the look and feel of your yard.
A portable spa is easy to maintain because you can easily access the equipment needed to run the spa. In addition, the portable spa offers excellent relaxation and health benefits, just like a traditional spa.
