Peranakan Sayang Show

Formed in 2009, this performing singing group has been entertaining audiences in Singapore and around the world with their unique brand of music that brings a fresh update to local Peranakan folk songs and pop classic oldies we all love.

The performance is all about celebrating our rich cultural heritage through our specially arranged songs, sung with lots of energy, fun and humour by the lively, larger-than-life singers. The audience is entertained with a repertoire of Peranakan songs with a modern beat and music arrangement, popular golden oldies that will bring back nostalgic memories, original songs that will impress you, parodies that will have you in stitches, party songs that will get people on the dance floor and mass participation songs that get everybody singing and dancing together! The fun and friendly singers connect with the audience with their lively banter, dressed in their bright and beautiful traditional costumes, singing entertaining songs with their wonderful voices and harmonies.

In a minimum of 4 singers, Peranakan Sayang has been performing at corporate dinners & events, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, community events, festivals, national & international events and concerts. The group has performed overseas representing Singapore on many occasions including Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong and India.

With great music, sweet vocals, humour, interactive fun and friendly personalities, the show brings joy and celebration to every event!
