There was also a virtual appearance of Professor Miguel A. Monné (Museu Nacional, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro).
Amongst many other topics, presentations included morphological studies, biogeography, comparative phylogenetics methods, the importance and use of scientific collections, taxonomic revisions, faunal surveys, ecological studies, use of scanning electron microscopy and macrophotography methods, and evolutionary and phylogenetic studies.
