About Us

As we remember and commemorate the lives of our loved ones, we seek to find meaningful ways to ackowledge the contributions nurses have made to each of us personally and to our community. In 2017, a group of area retired and active nurses, with the help of ECU Health Medical Center, created a Nursing Honor Guard to assist families in honoring the lives of loved ones who were nurses. This is a volunteer, non profit organization composed of active and retired nurses all over Eastern NC. We provide these services for free to honor nurses who have passed away.
