Harris Gardens, Reading University

🚐 Departure/Return: Meet up at the gate into the garden for an 11am start

Join us for an autumnal stroll around the spectacular botanical gardens. The Harris Garden features a diverse mix of formal landscaping, conservation areas, and botanical collections. 

This is a wonderful time of year to visit the gardens as it changes into a landscape of rich foliage, decorative seed heads, and late-blooming perennials. The grounds feature an excellent mix of historic 19th-century trees and modern botanical plantings curated specifically for their seasonal transitions. 

The date co-insides with the regular monthly moot, so you are welcome to join us a Park House for refreshments from 12 pm onwards.

Children are welcome, but sorry, dogs are not allowed inside the Harris gardens. Dogs are welcome at the moot though.
