Our Philosophy of Clase en Práctica

At Clase en Práctica, we believe that language is not just something you study, it is something you live. Our philosophy centers on the idea that learning Spanish should be practical, relational, and culturally grounded. We reject the traditional classroom model that prioritizes memorization, grammar drills, or test scores. Instead, we embrace a living curriculum, one that unfolds through everyday experiences, conversations and moments of real connection. 

Our Classes are Designed to Help Learners: 

1. Speak with Confidence in real-life situations

2. Connect meaningfully with Spanish-speaking cultures and communities. 

3. Feel seen and supported, regardless of their bacgkround, fluency, or past with language learning. 

8-Week Group ClassesWhat you can expect: 

Whether you choose to join us in person or online, every Clase en Práctica session is designed to help you feel confident using Spanish in real-life situations. Our classes are interactive, flexible, and rooted in community becuase we believe language is best learned when you are having fun, moving, and making real connections. 

Each 75-minute class includes: 

1. Conversation practice that helps you speak from day one

2. Useful vocabulary and phrases tied to everyday themes. 

3. Hands-on activities like role-plays, games, and real-life scenarios. 

4. Cultural insight through music, visuals, and examples from Spanish-speaking communities around you. 

5. Supportive facilitation in a no-pressure, encouraging environment. 

You will receive materials for each lesson and you are welcome to bring anotebook, laptop, or anything that supports your learning style. Whether you are sitting in a circle in our space or tuning in from home, you are part of a shared experience designed to make Spanish feel accessible, joyful, and practical. 

🟠 Cohort A - In person classes at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center (Location TBD) 

1. Tuesday classes from 6:30pm - 7:45pm.

Private Spanish Tutoring:

Looking for more personalized support? We also offer private tutoring sessions for learners who want one-on-one practice, homework help, or a deeper dive into specific topics. These sessions are perfect for: 

1. High School or College students needing extra help with Spanish courses work (Spanish 1-4 and AP Spanish Language and Culture). 

2. Adult learners who prefer individual attention or want to go at their own pace. 

3. Anyone looking to build confidence and fluency through tailored conversation practice. 

Scheduling is flexible and depends on instructor availability. We will be using SignupGenius to manage appointments, just select an open slot on our tutoring calendar and reserve your session!
