a. Demonstration (UTSUWA!)
　A live demonstration of assembling the prefabricated Japanese-style room “UTSUWA” on stage.

b. Craftsmanship Showcase (Cool Shokunin!)
　Tatami (Oe Tatami) / Fusuma paper sliding doors (Nakano Hyoguten) / Carpentry (Kisaburo)
　and a demonstration of dismantling the “UTSUWA” structure.

c. Hands-on Workshop (Discover the Joy!)
　Kanna Planing Contest (wood-shaving competition)

A diverse program was held under the theme “See! Learn! Experience!” to showcase the craftsmanship of Japan and Germany.
This collaborative event introduced traditional and modern handcraft techniques from both countries to the world.
Co-hosted with the Germany Pavilion.

Visitors were captivated as “UTSUWA,” crafted with traditional craftsmanship, was assembled right before their eyes.

Visitors from various countries took part in the craftsmen’s talk show and the Kanna planing contest.
